A free, mutli-generational program to enjoy with your keiki. August 5th, 2023 from 12noon – 4pm at VAC’s Niaulani Campus. This class is a wonderful opportunity to construct sea creatures for ordinary plastic bottles and keep it out of the landfill! Keiki will be introduced to themes of recycling, plastic pollution and ways to be stewards of the lands and oceans of Hawai’i. These unique, handmade creatures will later be incorporated into an installation titled Changing Oceans: Changing Minds by visiting artist, George Nuku.
