Monday Movie Nights: Blindness

As the world is ravaged by an epidemic of an instant whiting blindness, the first people in society afflicted by this epidemic are quarantined by the authorities in an abandoned mental hospital. Soon criminals and the physically powerful prey upon the weak in this isolated environment, hording the meager food rations and committing socially unacceptable acts. There is, however, one eyewitness to the nightmare: a woman whose sight is unaffected by the plague as she follows her afflicted husband into quarantine.
