Keauhou Bird Conservation Center Field Trip- Sold Out!

The Volcano Art Center (VAC) is proud to partner with our friends at the KeauhouBird Conservation Center (KBBC) for a unique field trip, on Saturday, February 22, from 10am to 1pm.  With this exclusive visit, guest on this tour will have the opportunity to viewsome of Hawai’i’s most cherished native forest birds.

Situated on 155 acres of leased land donation from KamehamehaSchools, KBBC houses nearly two-thirds of the worlds population of  ‘alala, and other threatened and endangered Hawaiian forest birds. During this tour you will gain knowledge for the men and women who care for these precious species. The staff will also show you many of the day-to-day operations that are essential to maintaining this long standing program.

Individually wrapped picnic lunches with beverages will be provided.

Profits from this fundraiser will benefit bot the Volcano Art Center and Keauhou Bird Conservation Center.
