Hula ‘Auana

A classic style hula ʻ auana performance will begin with musicians Joe Camacho and Tihing Chun. They will be joined by a dancer from Ke Olu Makani o Mauna Loa. Performed against the backdrop of the beautiful Niaulani rain forest, these free monthly hula performances from 4-5:30pmwill surely deepen the viewer’s appreciation of modern hula. The healthy Hawaiian rain forest at Niaulani is home to many native plants and birds found only in Hawai’i and is referred to in songs and hula movements.
