Perfect for the holidays these luminaria tell a story of love, light, and remembrance. Join Lois & Earl Stokes for another enlightening Zentangle® journey. This class will be focusing on the purity of light. We will be creating tea light luminaries using the Zentangle® method of drawing and the parchment craft technique of paper piercing and embossing on white vellum.
The Zentangle® method allows people of all ages and ability the experience of creating beautiful images by drawing structured or repetitive patterns. All you need to do is draw a dot, a line, a curved line and a circle. The idea of meditation can be challenging for some. Sitting still, focusing on your breathing and your thoughts can be difficult or boring. Lois & Earl offer you an alternative way to finding your Zen through the empowerment found in art.
No previous experience is necessary. Everyone can draw. The ceremony of Zentangle® reminds us to breathe, relax, smile, and appreciate. Mindful drawing helps to promote a relaxed focus and a sense of well-being.
