Zentangle®:Basics

The Zentangle Basics class will take us back to the beginning, to the foundations of the Zentangle art form and the philosophy behind it. Join Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) Dina Wood Kageler as she explores the roots of Zentangle and shares stories of how this art form developed and continues to grow.
Students will receive basic Zentangle supplies to get them started on their Zentangle journeys. The class is especially geared for the beginning Zentangle learner, but returning tanglers are welcome. We will focus on basic steps for Zentangle beginners, including step-by-step instruction for several tangle patterns. No previous art experience is required.
The Basics class is the best place to begin, and is also a worthwhile review for more experienced tanglers.
If you can draw a dot, line, curved line, S shape and circle….You can create Zentangle art. All art supplies will be provided. Cost is $35 / $30 VAC members plus a $10 supply fee. Please bring a light refreshment to share.
