Love the Arts 2018: Save the Arts
Volcano Art Center announces our 14th Annual Love the Arts fundraiser at the Ni‘aulani Campus on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 5 – 9 pm. This year’s theme is “Save the Arts,” taking a nautical approach to the event.
Guests will be treated to an evening of fine wine, brews, and a luxurious gourmet buffet. The live and silent auctions are not to be missed, with unique offerings including original artwork, hotel stays, tours, and jewelry.
Tickets are $55 for VAC Members or $65 non-members, and are available at Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village, VAC Gallery in Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park, Basically Books & Banyan Gallery in Hilo, and ONLINE!
Each year we ask local artists to contribute their artwork for this event, to be auctioned in order to raise the needed funds to sustain VAC programs and classes. These artists and businesses who give to the event do so with a knowledge that their donation will have a direct impact on the survival of the Art Center. The Volcano Art Center is an integral part of this unique community offering a sense of belonging to those who live and work around it. Show your support for Volcano Art Center and “Save the Arts!”
