22.5″ pāpale, 3″ crown, 3.5″ brim
WEAVE SIZE: 1/16” koana (width of pandanus strips used in plaiting)
PATTERNS: maka ʻoʻeno (twill weaving), maka ʻekeʻeke (herringbone design)
CLOSING: hiʻi (to finish an edge by folding forward or back to give a neat appearance) lū (scalloped braid)
MATERIAL: loulu (species of native fan palms, Pritchardia)
