2025 marks the 20th year of the annual Love The Arts gala!

This year’s, Love The Arts: “A Symphony of Wings,” takes place on Saturday, February 15th, from 5pm to 8:30pm at Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village.

The live and silent auctions are not to be missed, with unique offerings including original artwork, hotel stays, tours, jewelry, and more. Everyone will have an opportunity to bid on artwork, hotel stays, restaurants, local products, services, gift certificates to businesses and attractions.

The VAC board of directors, staff, and event committees are filled with anticipation as we prepare to make this beloved gala our finest yet.

A Symphony of Wings Menu:

A flock of Kabobs to include:
Chicken Kabobs marinated in a yogurt mint sauce
Vegetable Kabobs with a balsamic reductio

Live music performance with Kainani Kahaunaele, a five time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award Winner and was named as highly coveted Female Vocalist of the Year in 2004.

As one of the most notable talents of her generation Kainani has remained one of the most passionate advocates for Hawaiian language revitalization and the perpetuation of Hawaiian music through education and performance.

Kainani has also recorded with many artists from Hawaiʻi including Kealiʻi Reichel, Kaumakaʻiwa Kanakaʻole, Kekuhi Kanahele, Manu Boyd, and with her former band Kahikina.

Her songs have been featured on Hawaiʻi 5-0, ʻŌiwi TV, Merrie Monarch competitions and several Kamehameha School Song Contests.

Known for her warm dynamic vocal abilities, Kainani’s charming voice amplifies the imagery of the songs, enabling delightful encounters with the poetry she delivers.
