Zentangle®: SprigZ & TwigZ
Inspired by Mother Nature and in celebration of Earth Day, this earthy Zentangle® session will have us exploring organic shapes and appreciate patterns in nature. Taking a page from Mother Nature’s design book, we will use Zentangle®’s five basic element strokes to create your own Zen bouquet.
Before class, we will take a moment or two to meander through our own treasured Niaulani rain forest for creative inspiration. During this short walk we’ll open up our consciousness and become aware of Mother Nature’s uniqueness and the detailed patterns that exist in nature.
Join Zentangle®’s instructor Lydia Meneses for Zentangle®: SprigZ & TwigZ, April 16, from 10am – 1pm. Class fee is $35 and $30 for VAC members. Plus a $10 supply fee. Very light refreshments will be served.
No artistic experience is required; this class has been designed for beginners as well as experience students. Students will be provided with Micron 01 black pen and Zentangle®’s original white tiles.
Students are encouraged to bring and share their Zentangle® tiles or Zentangle® inspired creations and have them displayed in da “Z” Gallery area.
