Tropical Florals Sashiko and Applique Quilting with Mariah Bath

TROPICAL FLORALS SASHIKO AND APPLIQUE QUILTING WITH MARIAH BATH

Mariah Bath, longtime quilter and renowned quilt teacher, will be teaching a Sylvia
Pippin class on Tropical Florals Sashiko and Applique Quilting on Saturday, July 21
at Volcano Art Center in Volcano Village, from 10am to 4pm.
Mariah Bath will also lead the class on a walk-through of the 2018 “Quilts in the
Forest- Where the Path May Lead” quilt show, the 2 nd bi-annual quilt show at
Volcano Art Center. Julie Williams, VAC board member and nature trail guide, will
take the class on a tour of the old growth forest trail at Niaulani, introducing them
to a number of native plants, which can be seen in the quilts in this year’s show.
Class fee is $65 Non-Members/$60 VAC Members. Please bring a lunch.
