Thursday Night at the Center: Hawaiian Birds Inspire VAC Artists
Join Jay Robinson on Thursday, February 8th | 6pm, at VAC Niaulani Campus
Our island is home to a stunning array of native birds, many of which can be found nowhere else in the world. From ʻIʻiwi to Owls, ʻIo to ʻAkiapolaʻau, each possibly captivates our attention more than the other!
Come join VAC Board member, Jay Robinson, to learn fun facts about our birds, their amazing lives, and Hawaiian cultural connections to them.
Also speaking will be many of your favorite local VAC artists. They will share personal stories and insights about how the beauty, behavior, and unique adaptations of Hawaiian birds inspire them to create extensive portfolios celebrating our feathered friends. Some of their most compelling creations will be on display and offered for purchase.
Come join us for this fun and inspirational presentation!
This evening is part of a once-a-month Thursday night series at the Volcano Art Center, focusing on art, Hawaiian culture, and our environment. The series is intended to inspire and enhance your appreciation of art and life experience while fostering community connections. This presentation is free, although a donation is greatly appreciated.
