Take Your Stained Glass Skills to the Next Level
This 3-day workshop is for students with a minimum of one completed copper foil project. The emphasis will be on pattern design and other practical aspects of making your stained glass pattern. Along with pattern development, this workshop will also cover topics of interest to students.
Students will need to bring one or more patterns, photos or rough sketches for class project. (For novices it is advised not to use portraits.) There are many free patterns available on-line. Pattern making will be relatively “low-tech” but feel free to bring a drawing program if you are familiar with it (for example Glass Eye 2000.) Any pattern that you do bring should be no larger than 8.5×11 and no more than 20 pieces.
