Process Painting

In this workshop we silence the internal critic and throw away the rulebook about how we “should” paint. Hoban explains, “When people learn ‘the process’ they can paint from within, letting their subconscious or right brain engage in spontaneous expression. When we say “no” to what wants to happen and ignore the natural creative impulse out of fear or doubt, we begin to block our energy flow. When we move from judgment to curiosity, the whole world starts to open up!”

Volcano Art Center is again pleased to offer “Process Painting” with Patricia Hoban. The workshop will be held on Saturday April 11, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at VAC’s Niaulani Campus. Cost is just $50 for VAC Members ($55 non-members) with a $5 supply fee. Please bring a lunch, drinks, and wear painting clothes.  No previous art education or painting experience is necessary.
