Hula Voices featuring Joe Camacho
Thursday, February 6, 2020 | 5:30-6:30pm
Hula Voices is an engaging, intimate “talk story” session with Hawai‘i’s hula practitioners & musicians. This monthʻs edition will feature musician Joe Camacho with moderator Desiree Moana Cruz. A resident of the Volcano area, Joe Camacho will share highlights from his personal and professional journey as a working musician in Hawaiʻi’s world of hula and hospitality.
These programs take place at the Volcano Art Center Gallery in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, and will continue on the first Thursday of each month in 2020.
Please join VAC in celebrating the Hula Arts at Kīlauea with Hula Voices. These programs are supported in part by funding from Hawaiʻi Tourism, the County of Hawaiʻi Department of Research and Development and members of the Volcano Art Center.
These programs are also professionally videotaped, and past episodes may be viewed at www.volcanoartcenter.org/hula-arts/hula-voices/
