“Exploring Flags” with Charlene Asato, 1/30

The flagbook is based on an accordion book where papers are glued to the sides of the accordion. These papers stick out like flags, hence the name. This is an ingenious form of expression and three dimensional nature of this book can be captivating.
Bookbinding experience is not necessary!
Tools to bring: x-acto knife with fresh #11 blade, cutting mat, scissors, pencil, metal edge ruler, pane folder or butter knife, glue stick, old magazine,/catalog for gluing.
