Book Signing with Donna Marie Barr
The Volcano Art Center (VAC) is pleased to announce a special book signing events with author Donna Marie Barr at the VAC gallery in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. Donna will be on hand, signing copies of her book on Saturday, November 26, from 11am – 2pm.
VAC is honored to showcase the recently published memoir of a past VAC board member, long standing member and volunteer. My View From The House by The Sea is a true story, set in a small Samoan village told lovingly by Donna, a former Peace Corps volunteer. Amongst her tales of life in Samoa—harrowing bus rides, challenging projects, rewarding relationships, and the joys of living by the sea—she reflects on how the experience changed her and continues to be a vital part of her life today.
