Abstract Acrylics with Lisa Louise Adams
Have fun learning the fundamentals of color, value, and texture with strong design. Lisa Louise will share lots of techniques, demos, tools, materials, and sample paintings. Working with fast-drying acrylic paint allows lots of layers and adjustments toward the realization of your own unique abstract paintings. No experience necessary, just a willingness to experiment and discover your inherent creativity.
Cost: $65/$55 VAC Members plus $20 materials fee. Includes two 12″ x 12″ wood panels. Saturday, July 9 from 11am-4pm.
Supply List:
- Gesso
- Gloss medium
- Large pallette
- Flat & tracing paper
- Collage materials, decorative paper, etc.
- Roll of shop towels or paper towels
- Yellow, red, blue, black, and white acrylic paint
- Assorted brushes ¼” – 2”
- 2 water containers (32oz yogurt is good)
- Sandpaper 100 grit
- Apron/Clothes ok to get paint on
- Bring a Lunch
