About The Artist:
Rayme Kawika Yang-Kaula has been carving glass, for the past 25 years. He resides on Hawaiʻi Island, and balances his time working as a lifeguard and creating new artworks.
“I’ve been mostly self taught, and have always enjoyed finding new ways, to take a 2-dimensional drawing and apply in 3- dimensional way. Carving on glass is the perfect medium for that.”
