3 three-hour sessions: July 31, 5pm-8pm, August 7, 5pm-8pm, August 15, 10am-1pm.

Required course textbook: Nā Kai ʻEwalu, Puke 1 Hou (Available at UH Hilo Bookstore). Learn the basics of Hawaiian in three, three-hour sessions with Kumu Loke Kamanu. This workshop focuses on simple vocabulary, conversation, grammar, and sentence structure. Textbook is required, and is available at the University of Hawai’i at Hilo Bookstore for $39.50. From Kama ‘aina to visitors, Loke welcomes all.
