I have always collected Hawaiian quilt pattern books, and I fell in love with 2 of Elizabeth Root’s wall hanging patterns – the silversword and pineapple patterns.
This quilt has been very challenging because I wanted to follow her suggested quilting pattern, which was very different from the traditional echo quilting.
