Volcano Owl by Linda K Sackett
I have made many owl quilts over the years, and this year wanted to make one with a vibrant red background to symbolize the spectacular eruptions in Halemaumau Crater that I have watched over my many years on the Big Island.
I used metallic thread to quilt this piece so that it would sparkle when it has lights shining on it.
