Palila, open edition print by Marian Berger.
This piece is from a watercolor original created for the Up Close special exhibition at Volcano Art Center gallery. The palila is a critically endangered finch-billed species of Hawaiian honeycreeper. They are currently only found on the upper slopes of Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Â
