“Laulima (working together) is made of monkeypod wood and was inspired by my participation as a volunteer and non-violent activist. After some drawings to hash out ideas, I made a small clay model. I then roughed out the general form with a grinder and finished the sculpture with chisels, rasps, files, much sanding, coats of linseed oil and wax.” – Peter
From an early age I felt compelled to draw and make 3-D objects growing up in Verona, Italy. I started showing my work in the San Francisco Bay Area while enrolled in various art courses. I curated monthly art shows in Vienna, Austria. I attended the RHoK Sculpture Academy in Brussels. My work is abstract in stone, metal and hardwood.
