Mauna Loa by Ellen Crocker
“Mauna Loa” was inspired by a photograph on a Volcano National Park brochure. Learning new techniques from Gloria Loughman such as: fusibles, raw edge machine appliqué and free motion quilting allowed me to create in textiles my favorite photograph of Mauna Loa.
