“A Day, Just Like Any Other Day: Hiroshima’s Little Boy and Little Girl” is a short narrative story about a young girl’s unexpected and unimagined encounter with her destiny as she travels enroute to her school in Hiroshima City. Her destiny unravels generations of amplifying events that would not have otherwise manifested.
Before relocating to Volcano, David Jones was University Foundation Distinguished Professor and Professor of Philosophy at Kennesaw State University in Atlanta and is now an Affiliate Professor at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo. He is a former recipient of the East-West Center’s Distinguished Alumnus Award. This evening is part of a once-a-month Thursday night series at the Volcano Art Center, focusing on art, Hawaiian culture, and our environment.  The series is intended to inspire, enhance your appreciation of art and life experience, while fostering community connections. This presentation is free, although a donation is greatly appreciated.
