Discover the foundations of printmaking through relief printing, one of the oldest and most satisfying print processes, on Mondays, July 27 – August 31, 4:30PM – 6:30PM. In this six-week workshop at the Volcano Art Center, experienced staff will guide participants in designing, carving, and printing their own relief blocks inspired by the striking graphic style of Dietrich Varez. Students will explore carving techniques, inking methods, and hand-printing processes — just curiosity and a willingness to experiment. Beginners welcome!
Schedule: 6-week session, Mondays 4:30pm–6:30pm, July 27 – August 31, 2026.
