I am a resident of Volcano Village who is passionate about experiencing, photographing, & honoring Hawai’i’s dynamic natural landscape, including many of its native species. Birds in particular hold a special place in my heart; if I’m not with lava, chances are I’ve got my long lens & am seeking native bird interactions. In sharing these images my goal is always to communicate the wonder, discovery, humility, recognition, respect, inspiration, & deep connection that I so frequently find and feel in nature.
