“The Drenched Series of saturated colorful collages has morphed and grown into rich collages made of parts of watercolor paintings torn into 2″ x 2″ squares and acrylic paint used as a kind of calligraphy layered on top with glazes of semi transparent acrylic paint binding things together. Edges are teased and torn and overlapped. Sometimes they offer a suggestion of objects, most times they are arranged to create a rich, colorful and lively surface.”
