Peace By Piece: Quilts & Fiber of Comfort and Connection
Volcano Art Center is showcasing fabric and fiber artists from Hawaiʻi in its 6th biennial quilt show, Peace by Piece This year’s exhibit displays creative works of art steeped in rich traditions from the past as well as explorations of new and innovative ways in quilting. On display from July 18th – August 9th, 2026, the exhibit features traditional, contemporary and innovative quilt designs at Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus.
An opening reception takes place Friday, July 18th in honor of the participating quilters. Join us from 4-6pm, the public is welcome to attend. While the exhibit is free of charge, donations are greatly accepted.
The exhibition will be open Wednesday -Sunday, 10AM – 4PM through August 9th in Dietrich Varez Hall in the Hale Ho‘omana Building at 19-4074 Old Volcano Rd.
