Peace By Piece: Quilts & Fiber of Comfort and Connection
Volcano Art Center (VAC) is proud to announce its 6th biennial quilt show, Peace By Piece.
In Peace by Piece, fiber artists and quilters explore how fabric, pattern, and stitch become acts of care, healing, and unity. Fabric and fiber artists have created works of art honoring rich traditions and explored new and innovative ways in quilting and/or textiles. The exhibition will be on display at VAC’s Niaulani Campus July 18th – August 9th of 2026.
The Volcano Art Center invites textile artists to take part in a special pop-up event on July 25th and 26th, held in conjunction with Peace by Piece, the 2026 quilt show.
This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase and sell your work. Taking place during the popular Experience Volcano weekend, the event is expected to draw a lively flow of visitors, offering great exposure for participants.
The participation fee is $35 and includes a six-foot table and two chairs. Space is limited. The fee, applied after acceptance, pertains whether you choose to participate for one day or both. To be considered please email your interest to participate to gallery@volcanoartcenter.org.
You will be provided an application. Application for textile pop-up deadline is June 22.
