Peace By Piece: Quilts of Comfort and Connection
Volcano Art Center (VAC) is proud to announce its 6th biennial quilt show, Peace By Piece.
In Peace by Piece, we invite fiber artists and quilters to explore how fabric, pattern, and stitch become acts of care, healing, and unity. This year VAC invites fiber artists in various media and materials to enter. Works submitted do not need to be quilts. VAC hopes to inspire artists to create works of art through rich traditions or explore new and innovative ways in quilting and
/or textiles. The exhibition will be on display at VAC’s Niaulani Campus July 18th – August 9th of 2026. Entires for the exhibition are due by June 14th, 2026. Open to artists of Hawaiʻi, the complete prospectus and online entry forms are available below
