ʻAkiapōlā’au Love, by Caren Loebel-Fried, is a limited edition Giclée from the original hand-colored block print.

The ʻAkiapōlāʻau is a small, endangered forest bird living only on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, in the higher elevation in koa and ʻōhiʻa lehua trees. They are yellow and olive green colored, lively, with a short pointed lower bill, used to tap on tree bark, and an upper bill that is long and curved, used to probe under lichen and bark for insects.

The materials used for this Giclée were all of the highest quality, printed on acid-free, museum quality, 100% cotton paper, using archival, pigment-based inks. Each piece is signed and numbered by the artist, backed by a white acid-free board, and packaged in a clear resealable art bag with a description and a certificate of authenticity on the back. Border color may be different than that pictured here.
