Peleʻs Fury I by Thomas Deir
Madam Pele is the goddess of volcanoes, fire and the creator of the Hawaiian Islands. She is know for her power, passion and jealousy. She lives in Halemaʻumaʻu Crater and the graceful Koaʻe Kea, or white tailed tropic birds, nest in the crater cliff areas to avoid predators and are often seen flying in front of eruptions.
