“My enjoyment of the water, fish and the sense of movement in this design along with my enjoyment of hand applique and hand quilting inspired this quilt.
The seaweed background is one piece of cloth similar to the Hawaiian style of applique design. The border quilting is a continuation of the waves so it all came together in this “fishy” quilt.” – Vanessa Sales
