Machine pieced, quilted and hand appliquéd using some of the artists hand dyed and rust dyed fabric.
“I was inspired by elements of our property. We have several large rocks that were uncovered when the pad for our house was bulldozed . We later planted a stand of black bamboo. I love both and wanted to highlight them in a quilted wallhanging. Â The pieced background was constructed while taking a class taught by Jean Wells.” -Trudy Koszarek
