Concert: A Tribute to Bob Dylan by the Ing Crowd

You are invited to come and enjoy a swinging evening at the Volcano Art Center Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village. (19-4074 Old Volcano Road), October 10th, 2026,  at 5:30pm.

It’s an all Dylan tribute show by the Ing Crowd , spanning well-known hits from his early folk music days and then into his rock era Sings from Blowing in the wind, Don’t Think Twice, Like A Rolling Stone, All Along The Watchtower and many other classics. The group, spearheaded by Hoku Award Winner Wendell Ing on keyboard and vocals, includes Trever Veilleux in guitar and vocals, Gonzo on bass, Thomas on drums, and Oakley on pedal steel.
Tickets are $25 for VAC members ($30 non-members)!

The Ing Crowd is a Big Island based group. Spearheaded by Wendell Ing on  keyboards and vocals, Trever Veilleux on guitar, Gonzo on bass and Tom Yoes on drums.
 Their music is wide ranging  spanning jazz, blues, rock, country and world  influences. blended into a free-wheeling mix.  “ We’re pleased to do Dylan tribute concert.  One of the most prolific and influential American songwriters, the messages in his songs are as relevant today as they were when he wrote them, from his support of the underdog to his biting,  bittersweet love songs.”

“I like to think of music as painting pictures in sound. I’m a big fan  of impressionism.Storm, clouds,  birds singing, the ebb and flow of they ocean— sounds of the natural world figure in my improvisations.”

    As a recording artist Ing has released multiple albums  and is a Hoku Hanohano award winner.  He has played or recorded with many Hawaii music legends including Diana Aki, C&K, John Keawe, Gary Haleamau, Colin John and Larry Dupio.
   Trever Veilleux is also a recording artist and us known for being one of the premier guitarists on the Big Island.  He also leads the Hilo Jazz Orchestra.
