Two Decades In The Making!
In 2025, Love The Arts marks the 20th year of our annual gala!
This year’s theme, "A Symphony of Wings," will take place on Saturday, February 16th, from 5pm to 8:30pm at Volcano Art Center's Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village.
Our board, staff, and event committees are filled with anticipation as
we prepare to make this beloved gala our finest yet. Patrons from all
over the state as well as the mainland can purchase premium ticket
packages with ‘Golden Circle’ seating that include champagne, overnight accommodations, and breakfast.
As a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization, Volcano Art Center relies on annual events such this gala to raise essential operating funds.
This year the Volcano Art Center begins to face a critical challenge due to the upcoming two year closure of the Visitor Center in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This closue accomadates a two year construction period that allows for much needed upgrades for our National Park's visitor center and surrounding roads.
Bacause of this signifcant disruption, our gallery in the National Park will be significantly affected. Due to this uncertainty, the future of the Volcano Art Center may be greatly impacted. Although we have plans to manage this period of change, our gala takes on an even greater level of importance. And so we ask, can you, our patrons; bring an addtional level of extra support to better help the arts community in Volcano? Support such as yours is essential to make this meaningful event a true success!
At this time the Volcano Art Center is accecpting dontaions for our silent and live auctions to help make this milestone event a success. We greatly appreciate your support.

How Does The Love The Arts Gala Help The Volcano Art Center?
The Volcano Art Center offers a range of programs, classes and events for locals and visitors alike. Although these programs are budgeted into our yearly offerings, these programs are tradItionally operating without profit. With your help through this event we can better enrich these programs with addtional teaching resources, equipment, and scholarships for children in our Liko Aʻe Program. Your particapation in Love The Arts makes a truly significant difference to our community and its visitors.
We Need Volunteers & Donations!
All of the Volcano Art Center's programs and events need volunteers! Love The Arts is our most labor intensive event to pull off. Volunteer duties range in scope from helping to setup and prepare the venue, decorating, help with bid sheets, assessing items, soliciting donations, clean up after the event, and more. If any of these tasks are something you would be interested in helping with, please contact us here.
Some of the volunteers who give their time throughout the event can greatly benefit from your help by sponsoring a volunteer meal at $50 each. We ask that donations of artwork, collectibles, and experiences be in respectible condtion. All artists are encouraged to donate pieces of their artwork for auction at LTA. To better capture the imagination of this event thematic pieces are welcomed.
