The ʻOpihi Pickers, print L29, by Dietrich Varez. The opihi is a shellfish which lives only in the roughest rocky surf-battered shoreline. Hawaiians considered the elusive limpet a delicacy. Many lives have been lost in pursuit of the “Hawaiian caviar.”
