“I turned curly end-grain mango lidded box with 1” diameter brass disc engraved with “Birds Not Mosquitoes.” Finished with tung oil and a final coat of butcher block conditioner. Brass disc is set in lid with solar activated resin. Inspired by Cindy Drozda.” – Bill
Bill has lived in the Pacific and Hawaii over 67 years, 22 on Guam, 12 on Oahu and 33 on the Big Island. As a hand engraver and a woodworker he likes to include both where he can. Interest in Pacific cultures is often displayed in his work.
