Inspired Figure Drawing at Volcano Art Center

Artist Rose Adare will offer the “Inspired Figure Drawing” workshop on Saturday, June 24 from 10am – 3pm at Volcano Art Centerʻs Ni‘aulani Campus in Volcano Village. Find your passion all over again! Learn the tricks that can pull you out of any drawing funk!

A variety of drawing techniques will be covered, such as “The Tornado” and “Pop & Lock Draw” to give you fresh ways to view drawing. Learn how different music influences your drawings and how stance and movement can also play a role. This is an “out of the box” way of drawing a model and connecting with your materials, the model, and your own creativity.

You will get to try different drawing styles and techniques – pick what you like and throw the rest away!

Class fee is $65/$60 for VAC members plus a $10 model fee. Students are asked to bring a pen, notebook, drawing materials such as charcoal, pencil, erasers, and a large pad of paper at least 11” x 14”.
