Learn to live more in the moment, think on your feet, let go of self-judgment, bring more joy in your life and recapture your playful spirit in this introduction to improv class. Beginning Improv for Adults is a workshop series beginning Thursday, January 9, 2020, through Thursday, January 23, 2020, from 1pm – 3pm at Volcano Art Center Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village. This series is taught by improv legend Keli Semelsberger, founder of Charlotte Comedy Theater, and Medicine Woman Dance. 

Attendance to all classes in the series is not required to participate. No prior experience is necessary. The cost for each class is $40/$35 VAC Members. The series cost for all six classes is $235/$205 VAC Members. Pre-registration is required. 

Keli Semelsberger has been teaching and performing improv comedy for 25 years and is the founder of the legendary Charlotte Comedy Theater. She was taught in Chicago by Del Close and Amy Poehler. Her teaching style is laid-back and inspiring.
