LTA 2016 POSTER. REV 9 28 large newVolcano Art Center is proud to present our 12th annual fundraiser gala, Love the Arts, scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 5pm-9pm. This year, our theme is “m’ARTi Gras.”

Each year our Silent and Live Auctions grow in size and reputation because of the generosity of people in our community. The Love the Arts gala invites our guests to add to their art collection, enjoy gourmet catered food and wines, and partake in silent and live auctions that will include both art, as well as experiences, hotel stays, restaurants, local products, and gift certificates to local businesses. Your support of this event allows us to fund classes, as well as exhibits and workshops, and to offer creative arts experiences in Volcano’s uniquely nurturing and inspiring environment.

From out of the ordinary to the extraordinary, the silent and live auctions will offer a glittering array of fine art, jewelry and wonderful gift certificates for restaurants, hotels, adventure tours and more.

This selection is enough to tempt even the most discriminating dreamer. You’ll also be able to bid on pieces of art by Meg Barnaby, Liz Miller, Gregg Smith and many others.

Volcano Art Center’s master chef will cater a tantalizing menu consisting of a wide array of New Orleans’ delicacies such as Jambalaya, shrimp and grits, succulent beef basted with praline butter, Antoine’s classic Caesar salad and the ever popular, mouth-watering truffles.

Enjoy a fabulous night of New Orleans-inspired cuisine, fine wines, chocolate truffles, and Silent & Live auctions! Tickets are $55 for VAC Members & $65 for Non-Members, with tickets available at the door for $65. Tickets are available at Volcano Art Center Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village, Volcano Art Center Gallery in Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, at Basically Books and Banyan Gallery in Hilo, and online, HERE!

This evening of art, food and wine will be hosted at Volcano Art Center’s Hale Ho‘omana. Monies raised will be used for arts and cultural education, as well as programs and classes/workshops.
