It’s a hot summer on Amity Island, a small community whose main business is its beaches and the tourists that visit. When new Sheriff Martin Brody discovers the remains of a shark attack victim, his first inclination is to close the beaches to swimmers. This doesn’t sit well with Mayor and some of other the local businessmen. The sheriff joins forces with Matt Hooper from the Oceanographic Institute and a local fisherman named Quint to hunt down the shark. As the adventure unfolds the unlikely trio come to the conclusion that they’re going to need a bigger boat.
