figuredrawing2Inspired Figure Drawing Workshop with Rose Adare

Find your passion all over again! Learn the tricks that can pull you out of any drawing funk. Artist Rose Adare will offer the “Inspired Figure Drawing” workshop on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10am – 3pm at Volcano Art Center Ni‘aulani Campus in Volcano Village.

A variety of drawing techniques will be covered, such as “The Tornado” and “Pop & Lock Draw” to give you fresh ways to view drawing. Learn how different music influences your drawings and how stance and movement can also play a role. This is an “out of the box” way of drawing a model and connecting with your materials, the model, and your own creativity.

You will get to try different drawing styles and techniques – pick what you like and throw the rest away!

Class fee is $65/$60 for VAC members plus a $10 model fee. Students are asked to bring a pen, notebook, drawing materials such as charcoal, pencil, erasers, and a large pad of paper at least 11” x 14”.

This workshop has been canceled.
