Free Guided Tour of the Niaulani Sculpture Garden
NEW! The Guided Niaulani Sculpture Garden tours will begin occurring regularly at 9:30am on the 4th Wednesday of each month from October until June of 2020. Tour highlights include biographical information about the sculptor, their inspiration for the work and technical information regarding the construction behind a certain piece. The tours focus on deepening the understanding and appreciation of abstract sculpture in an inviting, walkable exhibit space created by landscape architect David Tamura. The grounds at the Niaulani Campus also currently host two outdoor sculptures on loan courtesy of the Art in Public Places Collection from the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and The Arts. These tours, supported by the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, will be lead by trained guides under the direction of VAC board member and Volunteer Coordinator, Julie Williams.
The tour is free and open to the public. Participation is limited so please call (808) 967-8222 to reserve your spot.
