Aloha Friday cultural demonstrations are held each week from 11 am – 1 pm on the VAC Gallery Porch. This month’s offerings include: Lauhala Weaving with Jelena Clay.
Hawai‘i Island artist Jelena Clay shares her aloha for Hawaiian culture and arts by demonstrating lauhala (Pandanus leaf) weaving techniques.
These free cultural events are supported in part by a grant from the County of Hawai`i, Dept. of Research and Development and the Hawai`i Tourism Authority. National Park entrance fees apply.
