Love the Arts 2020: The Roaring 2020s
Volcano Art Center announces our 16th Annual Love the Arts fundraiser at the Niaulani Campus on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 5 – 9 pm. This annual gala is our main event to raise funds for Volcano Art Center which allows us to fund classes, exhibits, workshops, and offer the creative arts experience in this uniquely nurturing and inspiring environment. Our theme this year is celebrating The Roaring 2020s.
This event is highlighted by unique decorations, delicious food, fine wines, and of course the live and silent auctions. Everyone will have an opportunity to bid on artwork, hotel stays, restaurants, local products, services, gift certificates to businesses and attractions. The evening also features appearances by members of Harmony on Tap and opera singer D’Andrea Pelletier.
Questions can be directed to Mike Nelson, Executive Director by email, email@example.com or by phone (808) 967-8222.
Tickets are $70 or $65 VAC Members and are available for purchase at Volcano Art Center Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village, Volcano Art Center Gallery in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, and ONLINE!
Save your ticket for free admission to the Love the Arts Valentine’s Day Dance on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 6 – 1opm. Learn the Charleston, the Lindy Hop, and more! Tickets for this event are $15/$10 VAC Members, or free with your Love the Arts ticket.
Each year we ask local artists to contribute their artwork for this event, to be auctioned in order to raise the needed funds to sustain VAC programs and classes. These artists and businesses who give to the event do so with the knowledge that their donation will have a direct impact on the survival of the Art Center. The Volcano Art Center is an integral part of this unique community offering a sense of belonging to those who live and work around it.
Guests will be treated to an evening of fine wine, brews, and a luxurious gourmet buffet. The live and silent auctions are not to be missed, with unique offerings including original artwork, hotel stays, tours, and jewelry.
