“I was born and educated in Ohio before relocating to California. I maintain residency both in Eureka, California and Volcano Village on the Big Island of Hawaii.
“After retiring from a career in education and public health I became interested in jewelry making. The interest began with a fascination with antique, vintage and modern beads, how they were and are made, materials used in their manufacture, and the history of how they have been utilized and traded between cultures. The beads used in my creations have led me to produce pieces that often carry with them histories spanning continents and time. One can only wonder who may have owned them and how they were used. I bring antique, vintage and modern beads together and “back to life” to be enjoyed and treasured again.”
